After a successful and wonderful first year, we will return even better than ever on Saturday, June 5. If you would like a reminder sent to you in advance, please send your name and e-mail address to info@delmarmarket.com.
As we wait for the weather to warm, we have organized a monthly Winter/Spring delivery of organic meat, poultry, eggs and locally made wine, cheeses and soaps. Customers can order on-line and pick up at a nearby Delmar location. If you would like to join this wonderful winter effort just send your name and e-mail address to info@delmarmarket.com. We will then get you all the information you need.
The Delmar Farmers Market features local, organic and natural farm products, baked goods, local and fair trade crafts, and music. All of our vendors come from within 35 miles of the market in Delmar, New York! Conveniently located at the Bethlehem Central Middle School, 332 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, New York (click here for directions).
The Market can use help with functions as diverse as staffing our hospitality/greeting table, running the raffle, grant writing, recycling/litter, and publicity. If you would like to help in these or other ways, please email us at info@delmarmarket.org. Thank you!
Squashing Hunger!
Vendors at the Delmar Saturday Farmers' Market have donated over 200 pounds of fresh produce to the Capital District Community Gardens' Squash Hunger Project. The Project collects extra fruits and vegetables from producers and delivers them directly to local soup kitchens and food pantries to feed the needy. See: www.cdcg.org/SquashHunger.html for how you can help.
Community Showcase
Representatives from local organizations will bring you important information to help you improve our health, community, and environment.
